GREATER DIVERSITY IN THE GARDEN

Set off on a journey of discovery and learn about the diversity and cultural history of our crop plants! Known and lesser known, rare and forgotten types and varieties that have evolved over thousands of years, not only in Europe, through careful, constant and loving selection are cultivated in our garden. They form the basis of our diets and are a valuable cultural asset that must be maintained. Seed is produced from some varieties within the context of our work here so that you will be able to see the now rare view of flowering vegetables and ripening seed stands.

The garden presenting crop plant diversity is a cooperation arrangement between BARNIM PANORAMA and VERN e. V., the Association for preserving and recultivating ancient crop plants in Brandenburg.
