For over 100 years now the »Heidekrautbahn« railway has been running through this landscape rich in woodland and lakes to the north of Berlin. So what is more natural than to link your visit to the BARNIM PANORAMA with a walk to the Liepnitz Lake or the Wandlitz bathing beach? In this way, fans of nature, technology and water sports all equally get their fill.

From BARNIM PANORAMA it is only a stone’s throw to the Wandlitz bathing beach, so that a visit can be rounded off with a leap into the cold water.

Swimming excursion to the Liepnitz lake
The bathing beach idyllically located on the shores of the Liepnitz lake, also invites visitors to take a look at the beach after they have been to the exhibition.

Path round the Liepnitz lake
The approx. 13 km walk leads around the beautiful lake. In summer there is a ferry service across to the island in the lake.
