Accessibility

The BARNIM PANORAMA with its exhibition and generously designed grounds offers intensive impressions for all visitors. Accessibility and freedom from barriers were included in the plans already during the building of this attraction.

All the themed rooms in the exhibition are accessible and enjoyable by wheelchair or pram too without any obstacles. Using the spacious elevator it is also possible to reach the highest point in the building - the »Lake views« themed room with a four-metre high panorama window looking out onto the Wandlitz Lake. The connecting doors between the different parts of the building are equipped with automatic door openers at a comfortable height. Guides for the blind and vision-challenged are fitted on all stair rails.

There are two parking spaces for disabled visitors directly next to the exhibition building. If necessary guests can be driven right up to the entrance. Access to the exhibition is at ground level, as is access throughout the building complex.

There is a toilet facility for persons with disabilities in the foyer and a changing table for our youngest guests.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR ACCOMPANYING PERSONS

For persons accompanying holders of a disabled pass with entitlement to an escort, admission is generally free of charge. If you require assistance you can simply ask us. Our Service Team in the foyer will be pleased to help you.
